We all have battles we face throughout our lives, yet we’re not always well-equipped to survive them in the moment or thrive afterward. Trauma is common, and high stress is a regular part of most people’s day to day lives. Confusion over the best path forward can be overwhelming.
Even if we’ve had good role models, and many of us didn’t, we likely never learned how to be in relationship with ourselves or others in effective, healthy, vibrant ways. We may have learned about physical fitness growing up, but probably never cultivated the skills of mental or emotional fitness.
One-on-one or couple’s counseling sessions are an opportunity to help people find clarity, spark hope, and discover how to move forward with strength.
During hour-long sessions, conducted in-person in Sarah’s Denver office, or over Skype or the phone, expect to have a sacred space in which to be listened to. Also, expect to learn simple, evidence-based principles that will help you tune into your intuition, modify or enhance some thought patterns and behaviors, and refocus your energy.
“My role is as a liaison between what the research shows us and what my clients desire in their lives,” says Sarah. “Counseling is a collaborative approach to help you choose better aligned paths as you move forward.”
Through a variety of therapeutic models like cognitive behavioural therapy, psychosocial education, somatic and mindfulness-based protocols, and existential approaches, discover how each element of your life affects your mental health as a whole. With this base of knowledge, you will be empowered to make gradual, sustainable changes that lead to the transformation you desire.

FEES & PAYMENT
Payment is made at the conclusion of each counseling session, which can be booked individually. Recommendation is to book a bundle of four sessions to start your therapy. Sessions cost $155/hour. 10% discount offered for active duty and military veterans, students, teachers, and other mental health providers, or for purchasing a “bundle” of sessions up front. Sliding scale available on a case by case basis.
Checks or credit card/Square payments accepted with a 3% finance charge.
