Since most diets mandate a list of foods to avoid eating, many people are turned off by them. A more effective method for making a shift toward healthier eating is crowding out which means adding in nourishing foods and beverages which leaves less room for – or crowds out – unhealthy food and drink.
Think about it this way – is your breakfast typically a couple of donuts and a cup of coffee? If so, instead try eating a banana first. Then, if you still want to eat two donuts, go for it. Odds are, though, that you won’t have room for two donuts. Get the idea? 😉
