I am a coach who is passionate about inspiring you to achieve peak performance in all areas of your life: reduce stress, sleep better, work more efficiently, love deeper, live happier, eat better, and move with functional fitness. I am your guide for moving forward in your life with joy and appreciation. I’m an “integrative” nutrition coach because everything in our live is integrated (aka: connected)! Too many of us neglect one area of our life – usually our health – for the supposed benefit of another.
I think a little bit differently, though. I see true health as what the Institute for Integrative Nutrition calls “Primary Food.” It’s easy to overlook all of the things that contribute to our sense of nourishment and fulfillment. It’s not just the food we eat, but all of the other factors present in our daily lives. Healthy relationships, a fulfilling career, regular physical activity and a spiritual awareness are essential forms of nourishment. When these “primary foods” are balanced, what you eat becomes secondary. JUST FOR FUN (and function)…I’ve been using a FitBit for the last couple of weeks and LOVE IT! It measures my steps, stairs climbed, calories (although, I think counting calories is useless), and miles. It also monitors my sleep and how often I wake up. Check it out!
