Watch this short video about how to cook one superfood grain – quinoa (pronounced keen-wah) – and make THREE different meals out it.
Why is quinoa a superfood? Because it has more protein than any other grain, contains all 9 essential amino acids, and is rich in calcium, iron, and B6 among many other important vitamins and minerals.
All that’s great info, right? But the second point I want to drive home today is that, specifically, this is an easy food to cook, and generally, you are NOT too busy to cook! Yes, you. Plus, your life depends on your home cooking because the more you eat out and consume processed foods, the more you put yourself at risk to get preventable illnesses, diseases, and sicknesses. If you say you know better, then DO better. You got this! 😉
